Judges

In order to be considered a certified CTCPA official, the  individual must have score 90% or higher on the online multiple choice Examination, and scored 90% on the written long answer Examination provided by the Judging Coordinator.

ALL new individuals wanting to become a CTCPA Certified Official will be required to complete the in person judging clinic where you will go over the examinations, or complete the online webinar with the online examinations and written long answer

To RE-CERTIFY as a judge simply click the link above, enter your First and Last Name with you email and complete the online exam. You are allowed ONLY ONE attempt, if you should fail you will be required to take an in person judging clinic or watch the online webinar. As soon as you complete your test the results will be emailed to the CTCPA office where we will then have the Judging Coordinator reach out to you to complete the written scenario portion of the exam. If you do NOT pass the written portion you will still be required to take the in person judging clinic or the online webinar but will ONLY have to retake the written portion.

Once certified, the certification is good for a 2 year term, once the term is up you will be required to complete the examinations again. If you WERE a judge but did not re-certify after 2 years you will be required to complete an in person judging clinic or online webinar as well as the examinations once again.

To be a CTCPA Official:

• The official must be a member in good standing on an annual basis of a local sanctioned association as well as the CTCPA.
• Membership in both organizations is a requirement to obtain and maintain  Judge/Official status.
• Re-Take the examinations and pass with 90% every 2 years
